The Newport Beach Breakers, operated by and benefiting Hoag Hospital Foundation, are proud to have completed another exciting season of World TeamTennis action. All net proceeds from the team's operations - including sponsorships, ticket sales and more - benefit Hoag Hospital and other notable charities in Orange County. The 2010 season took place July 6-22 at Breakers Stadium and featured marquee appearances by John McEnroe, Lindsay Davenport and Maria Sharapova plus other great tennis stars.

Since its founding 35 years ago by Billie Jean King, World TeamTennis (WTT) has been reinventing the game of tennis. With fast-paced, family oriented matches complete with music, fans and all out fun, WTT brings the biggest stars and emerging players to compete in an innovated co-ed team format. WTT teams consist of two men, two women and a coach, with matches comprised of one set of each men’s and women’s singles and doubles and mixed doubles.
